Tips for Setting up & Maintaining Your Hunting Rifle

Giving your hunting rifle a good checkup before verifying zero and maintaining the rifle throughout the season is important for accuracy and safety.

Many hunters have their one hunting rifle that only comes out of the safe come hunting season, even if they shoot regularly year round. Sometimes leaving a gun in storage can cause problems to arise, especially if it’s stored improperly and/or it was out in the elements on the previous hunting trip. Giving your hunting rifle a good checkup before verifying zero and maintaining the rifle throughout the season is important for accuracy and safety.
