The Full Auto American 180 in .22LR – 275 Round Pan Magazine

The American 180 is a unique full auto .22lr submachinegun from the 60s featuring its unique “Pan Magazine” feed system. Its pan magazine can hold 165, 177, 220, or 275 rounds. Its blowback action allows it to achieve a 1,200 rounds per minute (RPM) rate of fire.

Despite the low damage of an individual .22lr round compared to centerfire calibers, the extreme controlability of automatic fire from this rimfire round allows it to still cause significant damage due to its high rate of fire – it could even beat its way through body armor.
