  • The 1911 A1 features a curved backing of the grip.
  • The 1911 A1 has a shorter trigger.
  • The 1911 A1 has a longer grip safety tang to prevent pinching.
  • The 1911 A1 has a angled cutout around the trigger to make the handgun easier to shoot for small hands.

While these differences are minor, some 1911 purists will focus on those details.
