The anti-gun movement is calling for a “good faith” discussion about firearms – but keeps on acting in bad faith while attacking the pro-gun movement for avoiding discussion.
Firearms reviews can be flawed simply due to the small sample size, even if the reviewer has no malicious intent.
Firearms safety is no joke. Don’t try to grab a gun out of the air. Just let it fall.
Don’t ignore skill gaps – identify and embrace them.
A good Pro-Gun Slacktivist needs to be as efficient as possible with their time, and actually getting things done takes too much time.
Does this mean we shouldn’t ever take a shooting class? Or course not. If anything, this means we should seek out more instruction from more instructors. It is important for shooters to diversity their education and learn from as many instructors as possible.
For those of us who shoot a lot, it’s easy to be desensitized of the capabilities of a hunk of lead propelled by sulfur, charcoal, and potassium nitrate through a metal tube. It’s fun, and it only takes a twitch of the finger. But it is so important that we remember the full destructive capabilities of this small hunk of lead.
