With National Conceal Carry Reciprocity passing the House and heading to the Senate, the anti-gun movement is going into overdrive trying to fight this bill. National Reciprocity would essentially force states to treat conceal carry permits like they do drivers licenses, allowing people with Colorado conceal carry licenses to conceal carry in Colorado.
Naturally, the anti-gun movement is not happy with this. Unfortunately, they’re spreading flagrant lies about National Conceal Carry Reciprocity to push their agenda.
Inviting violent criminals to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives
Inviting domestic abusers to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives
Inviting convicted stalkers to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives

2 months ago, a gunman killed 58 and wounded 500+ in #LasVegas.
1 month ago, a gunman killed 26 people in their church as they prayed.
Yesterday, House Republicans passed a bill to allow violent offenders to carry concealed handguns everywhere in America.
Let that sink in. https://t.co/bAMQJuTzBN

Multiple anti-gun politicians and organizations are claiming National Conceal Carry Reciprocity will allow violent offenders to carry a firearm in all 50 states.
That is a lie.
National Conceal Carry Reciprocity allows law abiding citizens with conceal carry licenses to conceal carry in all 50 states. Felons, violent offenders, and other prohibited persons are just that, prohibited persons. They cannot get a conceal carry license and therefore National Conceal Carry Reciprocity does not enable them to conceal carry in all 50 states.
Their lies are so absolutely flagrant I’m surprised they would even attempt this. Surely they have to realize their continual lies about firearms are doing nothing but hurting their platform. I guess they don’t, and as long as we have the opportunity to call out their lies, the anti-gun movement gets weaker and weaker.
